Book Club Sales

Last week brought some good news. The Book of the Month Club and Mystery Guild are buying both C.S. Harris’s Where Serpents Sleep and C.S. Graham’s The Archangel Project. Both titles will be “featured alternate selections”--one in October (I think), the other in November.

But this is the really neat thing: the Science Fiction Book Club is also buying Archangel! They say that although it’s a little out of their usual “realm,” they think the remote viewing element will appeal to their members.

How neat! Does this mean I can now say I write “science fiction”?

I guess not.

Great news about the book club sales. That'll be really neat to see the book in my SF book club flyer. I'm still a member. You'll be the first person I've actually known personally to have a book in that club.

"Remote viewing" is a science that deals with a person's mind and soul. Any story that had this methodology in it would appeal to me in a science fiction perspective.

Now I will be looking for your book "Archangel" in the book stores because I want to find out what aspect of the remote viewing you used. I'm terribly curious.

And after I read it I may have questions for you.

But congratulations on the book club sales.

Thanks, everyone! And Barbara, I hope you'll enjoy the remote viewing angle of the series. We've tried very, very hard to stay true to the experiences of the Army remote viewers at Fort Meade.

Candy, I lost your email address. Can you send it to me at dave@davebudge.com.

I buried this down a few posts to minimize its reading and you should delete it since its not germane to the post.

Thanks, I'll write as soon as I have it.
